Love Valentine, Hate Valentine
I’m sure, by now, you’ve noticed the red and pink Valentine heart decorations everywhere! As we were decorating the store with the Valentine’s theme, our neighbors stopped by and some love it (because they are dating someone or married) while others hate it (probably because they are single). For those who don’t like Valentines Day, in downtown San Francisco, there are anti-Valentine’s parties such as Bitter Ball and of
course other parties that cherish the day like Supperclub. I agree that too much of it is sometimes obnoxious but it’s another ‘event’ for us to think about. Want it or not, here comes Valentine’s day and if you do have a partner you had better start NOW and don’t wait until February 14th to make plans. It’s so much easier, and less stressful, to make the restaurant reservation now, so call a cozy place like DISTRICT today. Also, get your flower orders in at Mandy Scott Flowers and don’t forget a hot outfit from our store!!! If you don’t have a special someone to spend the evening with, don’t worry, there are many single events in San Francisco that will give you a chance to meet other singles in the Bay area!
All I can say is don’t let the colors and preparations of special days like these turn you off, look at it as an opportunity to celebrate life and be happy…
